You will know you have set yourself up correctly for tracking if a red bar appears on your device's home screen after you have plugged it in for the night.
If you do not see the red bar then the app is not tracking sleep. In that case, please try one of the following:
- Go back into the app and tap any of the event cards or menu items to see that the app is active and try again
- Make sure that you do not have another logged in device to the same account. If you do, log out of the other device and try again
- Double Tap the iPhone home screen to show all the apps in memory. Swipe away the Sharecare app and re-open it again
Make sure the app is launched, you are signed in, and that your device is next to your bed at night. The app utilizes device sensors - light, motion, sound - in combination with time of day to determine a sleep pattern.
